We print tees, polos, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, caps and mugs with original designs about service, homecoming, family and pride, and we ship them free to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. This page explains who we are, what we make and how we make it, what we will and will not put on a shirt, and the promises we keep to every customer.
\n
Why a shop like this
\n
Most veterans we know do not talk much about their service. They do, however, wear it. It shows up in a faded cap on the porch, in a sweatshirt pulled on for the Veterans Day breakfast, in a tee worn to a grandchild’s game. Families notice those things, and when a birthday, a retirement or November 11 comes around, many of them want to give something that says "we know, and we are proud of you" without making a speech about it.
\n
That is the gap Proud Vet Tee tries to fill. We are not a uniform supplier, a memorabilia dealer or a charity. We are an apparel shop with a narrow focus: clothing and gifts that let veterans and their families express pride in a way that is respectful, wearable every day and honest about what it is.
\n
What we make
\n
Our range is organised by the kind of item you are looking for, because that is usually where a gift search starts:
\n
\n
Veteran T-Shirts: the everyday crew-neck tee, in colours from black and charcoal to military green and sand.
\n
Polo Shirts: a collar for reunions, ceremonies and dinners out.
\n
Hoodies & Sweatshirts: warm layers for early parades and cold-weather walks.
\n
Jackets: printed outerwear for the people who wear one jacket to everything.
\n
Hats & Caps: adjustable caps that one size fits most.
\n
Personalized: designs that take a name, years of service or a short line of your own.
\n
Proud Family: shirts for spouses, sons, daughters and grandchildren of veterans.
\n
Mugs & Gifts: printed mugs and small gifts for the coffee pot and the workbench.
\n
\n
New designs are being added. If a collection looks quiet when you visit, that is why; the shop page always shows everything currently available.
\n
How our designs are made
\n
Every Proud Vet Tee design is original artwork created for the shop. We work with a deliberately limited vocabulary: plain words, years and dates, five-point stars, stripes, dog-tag outlines and simple typography. The tone we aim for is steady rather than loud. You will not find cartoon violence, mocking slogans aimed at any group, or jokes at the expense of the fallen.
\n
Just as important is what we leave out. We do not reproduce official military insignia, branch emblems and seals, unit patches and crests, rank insignia, medals or ribbons. Those symbols are protected, and they belong to the people who earned them and the institutions that award them. Where a design mentions a branch of service, it does so in plain lettering so that a family can find something for a relative who served, never as an emblem and never as a claim of endorsement. Our Intellectual Property Policy explains this approach in detail.
\n
Proud Vet Tee is independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, any branch of the armed forces or any veterans’ organization, and nothing we sell is an official product.
\n
How your order is made
\n
We do not keep shelves of pre-printed stock. When you place an order, your design is printed or embroidered onto the garment or item you chose, in the USA, after checkout. That approach has three practical consequences for you:
\n
\n
More choice. Because nothing is printed in advance, we can offer each design in several styles, sizes and colours without wasting unsold stock.
\n
A short production step. Printing and checking take 2–5 business days before your parcel ships. Our Shipping & Delivery page shows the full estimates for each country.
\n
Personalization done properly. Names and years are printed for your item alone, and every personalized order gets a text check against what you typed before printing.
\n
\n
Before a parcel leaves, the item is checked for print placement, clean edges, the right size label and the right personalization text. Problems that slip through are on us, as explained below.
\n
The occasions we design for
\n
Most of our designs are made with a particular moment in mind. Knowing which one helps you choose:
\n
\n
Veterans Day, November 11: the day most of our customers plan around. Designs here are about thanks and recognition, and they are meant to be worn to breakfasts, parades and school assemblies.
\n
Memorial Day: a day of remembrance for those who died in service. Designs for it are quieter, centred on remembrance rather than celebration, and we avoid anything that treats the day as a sale event.
\n
Homecomings and retirements: "welcome home" and years-of-service designs, often personalized, often ordered as matching sets for the family.
\n
Reunions: simple, readable designs that look good in a group photo and still work as an everyday shirt afterwards.
\n
Birthdays, Father’s Day and the holidays: lighter designs with a warm sense of humour, the kind a veteran grandfather will actually wear to the hardware store.
\n
Remembrance Day and Anzac Day: for customers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the same respectful approach applies, and our delivery estimates for those countries are on the shipping page.
\n
\n
How we choose colours and garments
\n
Colour matters more in this niche than most. Many veterans have strong feelings about the shades they wore for years, so we offer a range rather than a single "military" colour: black, charcoal, navy, military green, sand, sport grey, maroon and white, with the exact options shown on each product page. We pick garments for comfort in ordinary life, not for looking like uniform: soft tees that survive regular washing, polos with collars that hold their shape, hoodies with a proper front pocket and caps that adjust easily. When a garment supplier changes a blank or discontinues a colour, we update the product page rather than leave an option you cannot actually receive.
\n
Who we make it for
\n
Most of our customers fall into three groups. Veterans buying for themselves, often something simple to wear to a reunion or a local event. Spouses, children and grandchildren buying gifts, often against a date: Veterans Day, Memorial Day weekend, Father’s Day, a birthday, a retirement ceremony or a homecoming. And families ordering matching shirts for an occasion where they want to stand together. Whichever group you are in, the questions are usually the same: will it fit, will the name be right, and will it arrive in time. Most of this site is written to answer those three questions clearly.
\n
Our promises to you
\n
We keep our promises short so that we can keep them every time:
\n
\n
Free shipping to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with no minimum order.
\n
60 days from delivery to return or exchange any item, for any reason.
\n
Our mistakes are fixed at our cost: misprints, damage, defects and wrong items are reprinted or refunded, usually without you sending anything back.
\n
Refunds within 7 calendar days of approval, on your original payment method.
\n
A reply within 1 business day from a person, at support@proudvettee.com.
\n
No invented urgency: no countdown timers, no fake "only 2 left" messages and no made-up reviews.
\n
\n
The details are in our Returns & Exchanges Policy and Refund Policy.
\n
What we will not say about ourselves
\n
Many shops in this niche lean on claims that are hard to check. We prefer to tell you what we will not claim. We do not claim to be veteran-owned unless that is verified and stated by the owner. We do not claim that a percentage of each sale goes to a charity, because we do not currently run such a programme. We do not claim our garments are military grade, tactical or made to any military specification; they are good everyday apparel. We do not show customer counts, star ratings or testimonials that we cannot show you the source for. If any of these things become true, we will say so plainly and explain how.
\n
Fit, fabric and care
\n
Each product page lists the garment style, colours and sizes available for that design, and our Size Guide explains how to compare a garment the wearer already owns with the size chart. Unisex tees and sweatshirts suit most people; women’s cuts and youth sizes are offered where the design allows. To keep a print looking good for years, wash it inside out in cold water, tumble dry on low or hang it to dry, and do not iron directly on the print.
\n
When something goes wrong
\n
Printing to order is a craft, and once in a while it goes wrong: a print lands a little crooked, a size label is wrong, a mug cracks on the way. We do not argue about these things. You send a photo, we confirm, and we reprint or refund, usually the same business day we read your message. For a gift tied to a date, we tell you honestly whether a reprint can still arrive in time, so you can decide what is best. Being straightforward when things go wrong matters more to us than any slogan on this page.
\n
Looking ahead
\n
We are adding designs gradually rather than filling the shop with hundreds of near-identical shirts. Ideas from veterans and their families shape what comes next; if there is a phrase, an occasion or a family role you would like to see on a shirt, write to us.
\n
Where we are
\n
Proud Vet Tee is operated under the trade name Proudvettee from 5165 Spring Street, Flowery Branch, GA 30542, United States. This is our business address for correspondence; it is not a shop or a returns address, so please contact us before posting anything to us. The fastest way to reach us is always email.
\n
Talk to us
\n
If you have a question about a design, a size, a name or a date, write to support@proudvettee.com or visit our Contact Us page. Many answers are already in our FAQs and the Help Center. And if you are a veteran reading this: thank you for your service. We hope something here is worth wearing.
\n","visible_characters":10033,"meta_description":null,"parent":null,"published_at":"2026-10-04T08:48:07+00:00","updated_at":"2026-10-04T08:48:31+00:00"}}
