Order Tracking
Last updated:
Use the form below to check the status of a Proud Vet Tee order. Enter your order number from the confirmation email and the email address used at checkout. Below the form you will find what each status means, how long each step usually takes, and what to do if your parcel seems late or lost.
1. Finding your order number and email
Your order number is in the subject line and the first lines of the order confirmation email we sent when you placed the order. The email address to enter is the one you typed at checkout, which is the address that received that confirmation. If you bought the item as a gift and had it shipped to someone else, the confirmation and the tracking emails went to you, the buyer, not to the recipient.
Cannot find the confirmation? Search your inbox, spam and promotions folders for "Proud Vet Tee" or "proudvettee.com". If it is not there, write to support@proudvettee.com with the name used at checkout, the delivery address and the approximate order date, and we will find the order for you.
2. What each status means
| Status | What it means | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending payment | The order was started but payment has not been confirmed. | If you completed payment, wait a few minutes and check again. If it stays pending, contact us before paying again. |
| On hold | We need to check something, such as payment verification or personalization text. | Look for an email from us; we explain what we need. |
| Processing | Payment is confirmed and your items are queued for printing or being printed and checked. This normally takes 2–5 business days. | Nothing. Changes are free within 12 hours of ordering if printing has not started. |
| Completed / Shipped | Your parcel has been handed to the carrier, and a tracking email has been sent. | Use the tracking link. The first scan can take 24–48 hours. |
| In transit | The carrier is moving the parcel. Expect 3–7 business days in the US, 6–12 to Canada, Australia and New Zealand. | Check the carrier’s page for updates. |
| Out for delivery | The parcel is on the local delivery vehicle. | Make sure someone can receive it or that there is a safe place. |
| Delivered | The carrier reports delivery. | Open and check the items. Report problems within 60 days. |
| Delivery exception | The carrier could not deliver, for example an address problem, a closed building or a customs hold. | Follow the carrier’s instructions, then tell us if you need help. |
| Cancelled | The order was cancelled by you or by us. | A full refund reaches your payment method within 7 calendar days of the cancellation confirmation. |
| Refunded | All or part of the order has been refunded. | Allow up to 7 calendar days from approval for the money to appear. |
3. Typical timeline
- Day 0: you place your order and receive a confirmation email.
- Within 12 hours: free changes and cancellations, as long as printing has not started.
- Business days 1–5: printing, embroidery and quality checks.
- Shipping day: the tracking email arrives; the first carrier scan follows within 24–48 hours.
- Transit: 3–7 business days in the US, 6–12 business days to Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays. In the weeks before Veterans Day and the December holidays, printing can take up to 2 extra business days. The full delivery table is on our Shipping & Delivery page.
4. Reading the carrier’s tracking page
Tracking pages use different words, but the pattern is the same. "Label created" or "shipping information received" means the label exists but the parcel has not been scanned yet; this is normal for the first day or two. "Accepted" or "picked up" means the carrier has the parcel. Gaps of a few days without new scans are common, especially for international parcels as they move between carriers and through customs. When an international parcel reaches its destination country, it is often handed to a local postal service, and a new tracking number or a new tracking page may appear; the original link usually shows this hand-over.
5. If your parcel seems late or lost
If tracking has not updated for 7 business days, or your parcel has not arrived 7 business days after the end of its estimated delivery range, email support@proudvettee.com with your order number. We open an investigation with the carrier for you. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, or the investigation is not resolved within 5 business days, we send a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer. Refund timing is explained in our Refund Policy.
6. If tracking says delivered but you do not have it
- Check around the property: porches, side doors, garages, mailboxes and parcel lockers.
- Ask neighbours, building reception or a mailroom whether they took it in.
- Wait one more business day; carriers sometimes scan a parcel as delivered shortly before it actually arrives.
- Contact your local post office or the carrier with the tracking number.
If it still has not turned up, contact us within 60 days of the delivery date. We will work with the carrier to find out what happened and help you.
7. Gift orders
When an order ships directly to a recipient, they do not receive our emails, so they will not know the parcel is coming unless you tell them. You can forward the tracking link to them, or keep it as a surprise and simply watch for the "delivered" update. If the recipient has moved, contact us before the parcel ships; after that, see the address change rules on Cancel or Change an Order.
8. Several parcels for one order
Occasionally an order ships in more than one parcel, for example an embroidered cap and a printed tee. Each parcel then has its own tracking number, and you receive a tracking email for each. A split shipment never costs you extra.
9. Problems with the form
If the form says it cannot find your order, check that the order number contains only digits (no # sign) and that the email address matches the one used at checkout exactly. If you checked out with one email and later changed the email in your account, use the original one. If it still does not work, write to us and we will send you the status directly.
9a. Tracking questions we hear often
My order has been "Processing" for three days. Is that normal?
Yes. Processing covers printing and quality checks, which take 2–5 business days. A weekend in the middle adds two calendar days without adding business days. If your order is still processing after 5 business days (or 7 during the busy weeks before Veterans Day and the December holidays), write to us and we will check on it.
The tracking link says "not found".
Carriers often take 24–48 hours to show the first scan after a label is created. Try again the next day. If it still shows nothing after 2 business days, email us and we will confirm the parcel was collected.
Tracking has not changed in several days.
Short gaps are normal, especially for international parcels moving between carriers or waiting for customs. If there has been no update for 7 business days, contact us and we will start an investigation.
The parcel is going to the wrong address.
Contact us immediately with the correct address. If the parcel has not reached the carrier yet, we fix the label. If it is already moving, we ask the carrier to redirect it, although the carrier decides whether that is possible.
Can I pick the parcel up instead?
We do not offer collection, because all orders ship from our print partners. If the carrier leaves a notice, you can usually arrange collection from a local depot or post office using the instructions on the notice.
The parcel was returned to sender.
This usually happens when an address is incomplete or the parcel was not collected from a depot in time. When it reaches us, we contact you to confirm the address and reship it. If the error was ours, the reshipment costs you nothing.
Will my order arrive before a specific date?
We can only give estimates, not guarantees. Compare the date with the estimates in section 3, and if it is close, write to us; we will tell you honestly whether the date looks realistic.
Can someone else track the parcel for me?
Anyone with the tracking link can follow the parcel on the carrier’s site. Forward the link from your shipping email to the recipient or a relative. For changes to the order, though, we need to hear from the buyer.
9b. Busy periods
The weeks before Veterans Day on November 11, the December holidays, Memorial Day weekend and Father’s Day bring more orders and more parcels through the carriers. During these periods printing can take up to 2 extra business days, and carriers sometimes add a day or two in transit. Tracking pages may also update less often while carriers handle peak volumes. If your order matters for a specific date in one of these periods, order earlier than usual and check the estimates on the Shipping & Delivery page.
9c. Keeping your tracking information private
Tracking links show the delivery town and the status of the parcel. Share them only with people you trust with that information. We never publish order numbers or tracking numbers, and we only discuss an order with the buyer, or with someone the buyer has confirmed we may speak to.
9d. After your parcel arrives
Open the parcel soon after delivery and check each item against your order: the design, the style, the size label, the colour and any personalization text. If anything is not right, take photos before washing or wearing the item and email us within 60 days of delivery. Misprints, damage and wrong items are reprinted or refunded at our cost, usually without you sending anything back. If everything is right but the size does not suit, any item can be exchanged or returned within the same 60 days under our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
Keep your order confirmation and shipping emails until you are happy with everything. They contain the order number, the items, the delivery address and the tracking link, which together answer almost every question we might need to ask you.
10. Need more help?
Email support@proudvettee.com or submit a ticket, including your order number. We reply within 1 business day. Our Help Center and FAQs answer most other questions.
